The grapes are sourced from the Stellenbosch region, mainly from bushvines on hillside slopes. It's a Mediterranean climate with weathered granite soil type, yielding very concentrated and complex tropical flavours. The vineyard blocks are selected prior to the harvest season and fruit is harvested at optimum ripeness (22 - 24ºB) with minimum skin contact and two days of settling of juice prior to fermentation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tank at temperatures of 13 - 15ºC. After primary fermentation, wine is kept on its primary fermentation lees for two months which will add to the boldness and complexity of the palate. No wood treatment.
Pale, straw colour. Succulent tastes of guava and fresh green apples with a crisp and zingy finish. Easy-drinking wine style, and can be enjoyed for any occasion.
Ready to enjoy now or within the next two years.
